Airday 2012

Plans are well under way for this year's Charity Airday and we have some exciting acts already lined up to display. We hope to span over 90 years of our flying heritage this September with some brand new displays, as well as some of our favourites from past shows.

We are delighted to be supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance one again this year and hope that more local charities and good causes than ever will benefit from the event.

So do make a note in your diary for Sunday 9th September and bring the family for some flying fun, thrills and fantastic aerobatics.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome the famous Spitfire of Carolyn Grace to display at this years Seething Airfield Charity Airday. This historical aircraft is a star, not only in the skies, but also of stage and screen. This is really a 'must see' act.

Seething Airfield

Seething Airfield is a privately owned airfield in Norfolk situated south east of Norwich and just a few miles from the east coast.

Now home to a thriving flying club, the airfield was constructed as a base for Liberator bombers for the USAF 448th Bomb Group. You can still catch tantalising glimpses of those days on the airfield today.

CONTROL TOWER MUSEUM: The former RAF Seething's rich history is captured in the iconic control tower of the airbase which is now home to a fine museum charting the life and work of those who worked there during the War years. The Control Tower is open the first Sunday of each month from May to October inclusive.
